Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Control

Connect the production requirement to a control system that can be specified, commissioned and maintained. White Sky scopes the engineering work from planning through handover.

Plan around the real production constraint

Begin with the current process, target output, product variation and constraints on access or downtime. Line concepts, capacity, layout, budget and resource requirements establish the boundary of the project before procurement.

Not every constraint needs a robot. Controls changes, material presentation or a better sequence may be more appropriate. Where industrial robots are relevant, their interfaces and operating envelope become part of the wider line design.

Procurement and programming

Technical specifications and vendor evaluation should establish interfaces, documentation, software access and acceptance requirements. Availability and lead times are confirmed through the procurement process, not assumed from a concept.

Programming scope may include PLC control logic, CNC and motion interfaces, HMI design and integration with manufacturing data systems. Existing hardware, access rights and documentation determine what can be changed and how testing must be staged.

Commissioning is part of the design

  • Define factory and site acceptance criteria before work starts.
  • Agree installation supervision, access windows and isolation responsibilities.
  • Test sequences, interfaces and fault handling against the approved scope.
  • Document changes, operator procedures and maintenance requirements.
  • Scope training, handover records and any continuing support separately.

Project questions

Can a legacy line be upgraded without replacing everything?

An assessment can identify reusable assets and interface constraints. Retention, replacement and phased integration decisions depend on condition, access and documentation.

Do dashboards replace safety controls?

No. Monitoring and reporting are separate from certified safety-related functions, which need appropriate engineering, assessment and validation.

UAE roots. International enquiries welcome.

Based in the United Arab Emirates, we welcome enquiries for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates, as well as international projects. Cross-border sourcing, delivery, integration and support are assessed per project; worldwide field support or regulatory approval is not assumed.
